Death has remained a relatively unchanged experience since its advent at (the end of) the beginning of life. We die, we're mourned, and if you are a believer, the soul continues its journey.

Some believe that electricity can trap spirits. Some believe that our online data should be considered our remains, just like our bodies. Since the advent of the internet, a part of ourselves is kept energized after we die.

Nai thinks she's erased herself from the internet. She's backpacking through Portugal and finding herself. She trips. She dies.

She arrives in Autoblivion, an afterlife that doesn't recognize her anymore than she recognizes it. In this demo, Nai has just remembered her death and arrived at a ferry terminal. She speaks to a technician working on the ferry. When they touch, she reconnects him with the data points that matter to his personality (not just his digital exhaust) and he breaks out of a daze. He tells her that the ferry will take her to a safe place, but she needs to find a way inside the terminal for a ticket.

He gives her a screwdriver, she breaks open a window. Here, we start our demo.
